News Release: The IHE Congratulates Luiza Grazziotin as New HTAi Member
Luiza Grazziotin, PhD Student in Community Health Science at the University of Calgary, is presented with a membership to Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi), on behalf of the Institute of Health Economics.
The Institute of Health Economics (IHE) is pleased to congratulate Ms. Luiza Grazziotin, PhD Student at the University of Calgary, as a new member of Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi).
Ms. Grazziotin is currently pursuing a PhD in Community Health Sciences, with a specialization in Health Economics, at the University of Calgary. Ms. Grazziotin is also the Secretary of the International Society of Pharmaeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Student Chapter at the University of Calgary.
Ms. Grazziotin completed a MSc in Cardiovascular Sciences and a BSc in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Ms. Grazziotin developed a foundational expertise in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) during her Master’s degree and completing a one-year HTA specialization course concurrently. Ms. Grazziotin also worked as a Research Associate at a hospital-based HTA unit, in which she gained practical experience in health services research by developing, coordinating, and conducting HTA projects, systematic reviews, and observational studies.
Ms. Grazziotin’s research interests are heath policy and health economics, with particular interest in cost-effectiveness modelling in arthritis and cancer drugs.
