IHE Industry Partnerships
The IHE was founded on the belief that the best solutions to healthcare problems will be found through collaboration, with all stakeholders at the table sharing expertise, insights, and experiences. The Institute is committed to acting as critical friend, trusted partner, and neutral broker to engage the public, private, and academic sectors to help solve some of the complex challenges facing health systems, by supporting policy discussions and generating new evidence.
The IHE has three platforms that support partnership with industry and other stakeholders: the Health Technology Innovation Platform (HTIP), the Secondary Use Health Data Platform, and the SME Commercialization Platform.
- Health Technology Innovation Platform (HTIP)
facilitates collaboration between a number of innovative pharmaceutical organizations and key public sector stakeholders to collectively define priority policy issues and topics that require evidence generation and productive dialogue in order to identify solutions to complex challenges
- Secondary Use Health Data Platform
supports the generation of real-world evidence and descriptive analyses from anonymized administrative and clinical health data to answer important research questions
- SME Commercialization Platform
provides services to enable small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to develop economic evidence to support procurement efforts, and offer early-stage technology assessment for insights to guide product development
