Boolean-Based AGREE User Guide

The Appraisal of Guidelines Research and Evaluation (AGREE) instrument is a generic tool for assessing guideline quality. Researchers at the IHE developed a Boolean-based user guide to help reduce the ambiguity and subjectivity associated with AGREE (and AGREE II) item scoring, and to enable the differentiation of good quality guidelines from poor quality guidelines. The revised user guide has been used by the Ambassador Guideline Adaptation and Development Program since 2006.
