Ann is a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) researcher who originally trained as a physiologist and biochemist at the University of NSW in Sydney. Ann spent three years working as a Senior Research Officer for ASERNIP-S before moving to Canada in 2002 to join the Provincial Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Program of Alberta. Over the past decade Ann has developed, produced, and collaborated on a wide range of evidence-based products, including rapid response documents, horizon scanning reports, evidence mapping summaries, rapid reviews, comprehensive HTAs, policy analysis documents, methodological papers, and clinical practice guidelines. She has a particular interest in methodologies aimed at increasing the relevance and reach of HTA in decision making.
