About the Prioritizing Methodological Research Methodology Forum
23 – 24 September 2010
Advancements in methodological approaches in the evaluation of health technologies are important for ensuring ongoing improvement in the comprehensiveness and quality of assessments. On September 23 and 24th, 2010, The Institute of Health Economics (IHE) conducted an invitational methodology forum addressing the economic evaluation of medicines in Canada. Delegates from academia, government, industry and other stakeholders involved in the production and use of evidence were brought together to discuss methodological challenges in evaluation of technologies and to identify priorities for research methods development in Canada.
